Illinois Realtors Announces Support for Jeff Smith

Candidate for 18th State House District Deemed Best Choice
January 5, 2010: Northbrook, Illinois - The Illinois REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC) is pleased to announce its support for Jeff Smith, Democratic candidate for Illinois’ 18th State House district.

“We are proud to stand behind Jeff Smith in his campaign for state representative,” said Keith Hancock, REALTOR® and Chair of the North Shore - Barrington Association of REALTORS® (NSBAR) Government and Political Issues Committee (GPIC). “His depth and knowledge of the law and public policy will serve the 18th district well.”

“Jeff has the experience to hit the ground running. He has a firm grasp on the value real estate contributes to a healthy Illinois economy, and we look forward to working with Jeff in moving Illinois forward,” added Howard Handler, Government Affairs Director for NASBAR.

Illinois RPAC supports candidates who foster positions favorable to the real estate business and even more importantly to this state’s property owners. Contributions to RPAC are collected from the general membership of IAR and are strictly voluntary.
